Medford Public Library in American Libraries Magazine

The Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library was featured this month in “The Sustainability Issue” of American Libraries Magazine. The project is cited as an example of the “Net-Zero Revolution” among libraries across the country. Schwartz/Silver’s team of library specialists and associated consultants worked with the Medford Public Library to design a new community-focused, modern, and sustainable building. The design exemplifies how a library can lower its own environmental impact and use its platform to inspire other communities to do the same.
