Larry joined us at the end of 2015 when he merged his firm, Solomon+Bauer Architects, into Schwartz/Silver. Larry is a graduate of Williams College and received a Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, winning the Julia Amory Appleton Traveling Fellowship. He has been the Principal-in-Charge of a wide range of projects, including the Albany Institute of History & Art, the New Bedford Whaling Museum, and numerous projects at Harvard University and St Paul’s Church in Nantucket. Complementing his skills as a museum architect, he has developed a special expertise in museum collection storage system design and is a recognized authority in the field. Larry is the former Chairman of the Newton, MA Historical Commission and continues to serve on Historic Boards and Commissions in the region.
