Gropius House

A few of us at Schwartz/Silver celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus earlier this year by visiting the iconic Gropius House, the former family home of Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius.

Constructed in 1938 in Lincoln, Mass., the house and grounds now function as a museum, and are largely intact.

Our team celebrated the Bauhaus with a private tour of the home. We meandered through the home office, living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms - all staged with the furnishings and everyday objects that belonged to Gropius when he and his family resided there.
