Schwartz/Silver’s task in designing the admissions building was to provide a new front door for the university, at the corner of the main campus quadrangle. Prospective students enter the building from a new courtyard and ascend one floor to the level of the quadrangle, where the campus unfolds before them. At this upper level, an innovative digital resource center provides “one stop shopping” for all of the university’s enrollment services.
