Raised in southern Peru, Marco became fascinated by how people shape the places they inhabit, a curiosity that led him to architecture. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of South Florida, where his graduate thesis, “Common Ground,” explored how Peru’s diversity of culture, context, and ways of living make places rich. His work reflects this broader interest in the relationship between architecture and culture. Marco has made his way north to Boston, trading year-round sunshine for four seasons and, for the first time, a serious winter coat. Outside of architecture, he enjoys traveling, exploring cities on foot, and finding the fastest way to get somewhere.
